Can I participte without staying in Santa Susanna? In this case, how much is the registration fee?

Of course, your choir can choose not to stay in Santa Susanna. In these cases, the organization will assist you in finding alternative accommodation in Barcelona city.

The registration fee is 300€(three hundred euros) and includes the same concepts as the standard registration fee, except accommodation and meals.

Do I need a visa to visit Spain?

All groups should check with the Spanish Consulate or Embassy in their home countries regarding travel requirements for Spain.

What is the weather in Barcelona like in October?

The climate in October and November is still quite pleasant, however it can be unpredictable and cooler (21º dropping to 15ºC, 69 to 59F). Remeber that this is only an estimate and that even predicted weather can change suddenly.

Where can I change money?

Both in Barcelona and Santa Susanna there are various Exchange Offices and Banks where you can change your money for the local currency (the Euro). You can also change money upon arrival at Barcelona airport

Can I pay my registration fee with my Visa credit card?

At the moment Corearte cannot accept payment by credit card. However, soon you will be able to pay via Paypal through our website.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes. We recommend taking out comprehensive travel insurance in case of accident or requiring medical assistance. Corearte only covers the Civil Responsibility Insurance. You can get travel insurance from your travel agent or your credit card company may also offer this service to clients.

What is the electricity voltage in Spain?

In Spain and other European Union countries the electricity voltage used is 220v.

Can I get a tax rebate on my purchases?

If you ae visiting Spain from outside the European Union you can benefit from tax free shopping for all purchases over 90.15€. This only applicable for articles that you take to your country of origin. This saving is not applicable to restaurantes, hotel bills, food or services, as these items are not considered as exportable goods but as consumable goods.
