Corearte International Choir Festival maintains its ongoing research, organization, development and implementation of the following tasks:
- Artistic performances
- Roundtables, debates, conferences and workshops
- Events, festivals and contests
- Groups training and artistic / cultural workshops
This work is also thanks to the partners and friends of Corearte all over the world:
The COREARTE Choir Festival team brings together international professionals passionate about music and especially choral singing.
Christian, as a technician in Business Administration, is responsible for the financial and administrative management of Corearte. He is a founding member of the Association and deputy director of all its projects.
Lorena, who has a master in Administration and has organised important cultural projects in Catalonia, is the person responsible for the general production of our Corearte Festival event.
Director of the Choral Festival
Carlos is a founding member of the Corearte International Choir Festival, and is been the lead manager of the Festival since its inception. In addition to that, he is responsible for the selection of the choirs, as well as for the programming of all the Corearte events. He currently sings at the Cantiga Coral, conducted by Josep Prats.
Francisco Simaldoni is an arranger, an orchestrator and a creator of choral symphonic works. He is the director of the University Choir of the Republic, Polyphonic Voices of Santa Elena and the Plaza choirs. He was the main driver for the creation of the Association of Choirs from Uruguay, being currently one of his top counsellors
Corearte team, like every year, has also a magnificent group of collaborators that a part from loving music, enjoy receiving international guests. Each choir will have a coordinator staff assigned who will act as a facilitator for travels, visits, participations in concerts, etc
Prestigious Choral Conductors are summoned by the Corearte International Festivals to dictate training workshops to the participants. In every edition of the Festival, schedule organization is often very complicated due to numerous musical commitments; however, thanks to an early organization, we have enjoyed the presence of some of them several times.
