Categories

It convenes choral groups of older adults, religious, community or public and private institutions. 
Registration can be both individual or as a choir. 
Places are limited and are awarded on a first come first served basis.

Participation requirements

Choirs wishing to participate in this edition of “Corearte Senior 2021” must send the registration form (available on our website), brief resume of the choir and its conductor, recent recording of two numbers of the choir’s repertoire (from a performance or rehearsal) and a recent photo of the group and its conductor.

Workshops

As a festival, we give the utmost importance to musical workshops, where the choirs an improve their vocal technique and enjoy the experience of working with great directors. 
Musical workshops are held every day and are supervised by members of Corearte. At the end of the week, on Saturday, 3th of July, we perform a closing concert where all friends are invited to participate! 
And for those who come from abroad, the concert will be broadcasted live via our website!

Program

The activities of the Corearte Senior begin on Tuesday 29 July at 15:00.
The schedule will be adjusted as registrations are confirmed. 
This program is provisional and subject to change: 

  • ·  Tuesday 29/6: Welcome, workshops and activities
  • ·  Wednesday 30/6: Workshops, visits and concert
  • ·  Thursday 1/7: Walks and afternoon at the beach
  • ·  Friday 2/7: Workshops and visits
  • ·  Saturday 3/7: Workshops and closing concert
  • ·  Sunday 4/7: Breakfast and farewell

Concerts

The venues for the concerts are chosen for their sound quality and cultural and/or architectural interest, thus providing an opportunity for participants choirs to sing in emblematic places of the Island of Tenerife.

Repertoire and instruments

The Organization, provides a piano or an electronic keyboard, depending on the location. If the choir needs additional instruments, they must make the necessary arrangements to bring them. 
The repertoire for the different performances of the Summer Camps, must be sent before 15 May 2021.
The organization will send to each choir the concert venues and times beforehand.

Confirmed Delegation List
The list of people in the delegation must be confirmed on 31 May. After this date, no changes are allowed.

Registration

The price includes musical workshops, recreational activities, accommodation on half board meal plan (from dinner on Tuesday 29 – June to breakfast on Sunday 4 – July)

440 € · in a triple room (four hundred and forty euros)
480 € · in a double room (four hundred and eighty euros)
610 € · in a single room (six hundred and ten euros)

Payment Installments

  • First Payment 150 €

    before 15 March 2021

  • Second Payment 150 €

    before 15 May 2021

  • Third payment balance

    at the time of accreditation in 29 June 2021

These amounts are per participant and in euros
Along with the last installment (At the time of arrival and in cash) all the extra costs requested  by members of the choir, as double rooms, extra days, transports, transfers, etc., must be paid.

What is not included

  • Airplane tickets or ground transportation
  • Transportation during the festival
  • Entrance fees to museums, tours and other cultural or recreational paid activities
  • Insurance:
    The Festival has a Compulsory Insurance of Civil Liability of the event but is not responsible for accidents and/or illnesses that may occur to participants during the summer camp, so it is mandatory that each participant travels with their individual insurance

Insurance and cancellations

The payment of the registration fee for participants after May 15, 2021 is not refundable in case of cancellation. 

The place left vacant may be used by another member of the choir or accompanying person.  In case of a definitive cancellation, there will be a penalty of 150 euros.
