Néstor Andrenacci (Argentina)

 

He studied choral conducting with Antonio Russo, conducting with Mariano Drago, and analysis and composition with Francisco KröptI.

He has head the GCC Choral Group (since 1973), the Joint Madrigalista Francisco Guerrero (since 1984), and the Choir of the Catholic University of Argentina (since 1991). He has also created and / or directed numerous choral groups of Buenos Aires, capital and province.

He addressed the interpretation of all genres that are related to the vocals from the Middle Ages to the present, including premieres of works by Argentine composers. His work has been recognized by critics in the country and abroad.

He has performed in Argentina, Ecuador, Uruguay, Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom and Canada.

He coordinated between 1985 and 1987 a workshop on choral conducting composed by new conductors from Buenos Aires and Santa Fe.

Since 1989 he has been responsible for a chair of choral conducting at the Faculty of Arts and Musical Sciences of the Catholic University of Argentina.

It is frequently summoned to integrate juries in contests and competitions in Argentina and abroad.
