Santiago Ruiz (Argentina)

 

Santiago Ruiz, born in 1978, is a professor of Guitar, graduate of the Felix T. Garzon Provincial Conservatory of Music, having also obtained a degree in Musical Composition from the National University of Cordoda, Argentina, where he was also awarded the Students’ Prize for having the highest average punctuation.

He studies choral and orchestral direction with renowned Argentinian and international maestros, them most notable being: Antonio Russo, Alberto Balzanelli, Nestor Andrenacci, Hugo de la Vega, Gustavo Maldino, Carlos Giraudo, Sergio Feferovich, Hadrian Avila Arzuza (Colombia), Alberto Grau (Venezuela), Werner Pfaff (Germany), Josep Prats (Catalonia), Alina Orraca (Cuba), Ma. Felicia Pérez (Cuba)

In 2012, he was recognised as one of the 10 most promising youths of Cordoba and since 2014 he has been the director of the the Municipal String Orchestra of Cordoba.
